Overview
'Adventure Project' was a level design project that I worked on for two months. In the first month, I designed the layout and flow of the level. In the second month, the block mesh was replaced with art assets.

Level Mechanics
Bridge
This mechanic serves as the 'valve' in the game. After the player crosses the bridge, a collapse sequence occurs, stopping the player from being able to backtrack to the level start.
Chests
Around the map are chests that can be opened. Opening chests will play a short cinematic.
Cave Entrance
The cave entrance is another 'valve' found within the level. hidden hatch leads to an underground cave filled with gold and jewels. The player will make there way through the cave and escape.
Gate
This stone gate allows the player access to the 'Level End.' After going through the gate. The player is prevented from backtracking the level after entering the gate.
Level Start
The level starts at a camp site near a rocky valley. In front of the campsite is the entrance to a dense forest valley filled with small shrubs and tall trees. Furthermore, there are ruins of small housing structures along a narrow path leading to a guard tower on the hillside.
Level Mid
After making it across bridge, the player will continue down a narrow rocky staircase where they can spot a building in the distance through the trees. Staying on the path will lead them to the abandoned building where they will have to make their way inside.
Level End
At the end of the level, the player will continue down a narrow path into a thick forested area where they will encounter a bridge overlapping the river in the valley. At the end of the bridge is a boat that the player will use to go to the next level.
